Ujjwal Pawar

Researcher in Open RAN & 5G Systems

Ujjwal Pawar is a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, working in the NetSys Lab under the supervision of Prof. Mahesh K. Marina. His research focuses on Open RAN and private 5G systems, with an emphasis on using real-world deployments to study mobile network operation, measurement, and efficiency. He contributed to Campus5G, a campus-scale O-RAN-compliant private 5G testbed deployed across the University of Edinburgh’s central campus.
